Boston
It is commonly referred to as the birth place to the American Revolution, is the capital city of Massachusetts. Interestingly Boston was founded in 1630 by John Winthrop, a puritan. Consequently the migration of puritan families established churches, social institutions and schools. Gradually Boston developed into a economic centre largely engaged in shipping and boat building.
